DANCER AND CHOREOGRAPHER
Elizabeth Schultz began her dance training at the Perlman-Stoy School of Ballet. Following high school Elizabeth attended Stephens College where she graduated cum laude with a B.F.A. in Dance. Elizabeth has danced professionally for Modern America Dance Company, Ardmore Contemporary Dance Company, People Dancing Company and Dancers, and the Detroit Dance Collective. She has had the opportunity to perform historic works by Doris Humphrey, Charles Weidman, Erick Hawkins, and Jose Limon. Her own choreography has been featured in the Dance Escape Concert and New Slate Dance Concert at the University of California, Irvine, as well as the Detroit Dance City Festival, and the Detroit Dance Collective’s Collage Concert among others. Elizabeth is an experienced teacher and has taught in schools and studios across the country; including the University of California, Irvine, where she served as an instructor for the Claire Trevor School of the Arts.
Elizabeth completed her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance at the University of California, Irvine in 2018. While at UCI she had the honor of studying with distinguished professors such as Loretta Livingston, Lar Lubovitch, and Tong Wang.
Elizabeth currently serves as the Executive Director for Ketchikan Theatre Ballet.
